My name is Alex, owner of Frivolbit and designer of Bridge for Nintendo 64. I spent the past 13 years as an electrical engineer in circuit design and embedded software before moving on to my own endeavors.
Bridge started as a passion project more than 10 years ago; it was put on the shelf when my first child was born, and only recently have I had the good fortune and circumstance to revive it.
I am the sole designer and manufacturer of Bridge - each device is lovingly assembled by me (for now!) in my basement in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

What is a Frivolbit?
Frivolbit is a portmanteau of sorts - frivolous and bit. While frivolous often has a negative connotation, I prefer to view it in a more positive expression - an unnecessary luxury. I recognize that the product I make has a certain frivolity to it; however, life is more enjoyable with the small pleasures. I hope you will enjoy these frivolous bits of technology as much as I do!
